A lack of excitement in their lives prompts Kazuo, a Hawaiian born Japanese, to buy an airstream for him and his Japanese-American wife named Mitsuko.
The airstream becomes a new found adventure and togetherness for the retired couple, until a manic stranger named Kilo invades them and takes them hostage for a day.
